4 Ways to Style A Maxi Dress

4 Ways to Style A Maxi Dress

  1. ADD A BELT

I absolutely love how belts adds to any look your trying to pull off especially with maxi dresses. Not only does is snatch the waist, it adds a classier look to a simple dress. The wider the belt, the smaller the waist.

2. SWAP THEM SANDALS OUT FOR SOME STRAPPY HEELS.

Adding heels definitely take things up a notch. When you wear heels, everyone knows that you mean business. Don’t be concern with the height of the heel, just wear them. Bonus: Pop a color heel opposite of the color of your dress. Finalize the look with a soft beat face, jewelry and a clutch. You are now ready to walk the runway

3. TIE A KNOT

Transitioning from work to play and don’t have time to change, tie a knot. If the dress have splits, grab both sides, tie together in an angle and tie a knot. Simple, yet significant. Show off them legs, don’t be scared. Add #3 to the equation and you really gone turn heads.

4. HATS! HATS! HATS!

You heard it here first!  I don’t wear hats often but when I do, it’s mainly a bad hair day or I really want to apply pressure. Either way, you can’t go wrong with adding a hat.  If you decide on wearing a baseball hat with your dress then add sneakers (high tops preferably). If you wear a floppy hat ( you should definitely be on vacation with a floppy) then a simple sandal. If you wear a straw panama hat or fedora, add a wedge to the combo.
